What
Our Mentor Coaching Experience program is designed for experienced coaches who wish to deepen their capability as Mentor Coaches in alignment with the updated standards and expectations established by the International Coaching Federation.
This learning experience is created for professionals who want to approach Mentor Coaching with greater mastery, presence, ethical awareness, and understanding of the ICF Core Competencies and PCC Markers, while developing the specific skills required to effectively support other coaches in their professional growth.
The program is intended for coaches seeking to strengthen their preparation as Mentor Coaches, pursue Mentor Coach Education aligned with current ICF expectations, and meet the eligibility requirements associated with the ICF Credit for Prior Learning pathway for Mentor Coaches.
60-Hour AAMC Certificate
This education program and its curriculum are designed to align with the eligibility requirements for Mentor Coaches Specialization pathway, supporting coaches in meeting the updated standards and expectations established by the ICF from April 2026.
Key learning outcomes:
1.
You develop the ability to observe, evaluate, and facilitate mentor coaching conversations at the level required to support coaches toward ACC, PCC, or MCC credentialing, with a strong focus on the quality of coaching presence and competency integration.
2.
You deepen your mastery of the ICF Core Competencies from a mentor coach perspective, learning how to recognize, articulate, and differentiate levels of competency expression in real coaching practice.
3.
You gain confidence and accuracy in using the PCC Markers as a developmental and evaluative framework, enabling you to assess coaching demonstrations (oral and written) in a structured, fair, and ICF-aligned way.
4.
You learn how to design and conduct effective mentor coaching sessions that foster reflection, awareness, and growth in other coaches, supporting them in preparing for both performance evaluation and the ICF Credentialing Exam.
5.
You engage in structured mentor coaching practice within the learning community, developing the ability to exchange mentor coaching hours in a professional, reciprocal, and competency-based learning environment.
6.
You strengthen your capacity to distinguish between coaching and mentor coaching, expanding your professional identity from coaching practitioner to mentor coach, capable of contributing to the development of other coaches at a high standard of excellence.
7.
You evolve your own mentor coaching presence and discernment, integrating advanced listening, observation, and feedback skills, so you can partner with coaches in refining their mastery and supporting consistent alignment with ICF expectations and ethical practice.
